Tulsa Police investigate a series of armed robberies they believe are connected.

Police officers were called to the Cedar Lane Apartments in the 6600 block of East 19th Street around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday.

The victim says three men demanded money from him.  The suspects shot him in the leg and ran off with some cash.

Tulsa Police say the victim will be okay.

About 45 minutes later, Tulsa Police believe the same three suspects held up the Subway store at 7000 East Admiral.  They say two suspects went in the store; one pulled a gun on the clerk.

Police say they then pistol whipped the clerk and took cash from the register before running off with the third suspect who waited outside.

The victim was hospitalized but police officers say he will recover.

Tulsa Police says a white 2004 Ford Taurus was seen leaving both crime scenes.
