Stabbing Suspect Behind Bars

A suspect is in the Tulsa County jail after he is arrested early Monday in connection with a stabbing.

Tulsa Police say the incident happened in the 1000 block of North Evanston shortly before 1:30 a.m. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 29-year old male with stab wounds to the face, stomach, back and leg.

The suspect fled the scene on foot and was found after what Tulsa Police say was a "lengthy search."

27-year old Jared Henderson was booked into the jail on a complaint of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

The victim was taken by EMSA to a Tulsa hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

Police say they believe the victim and the suspect knew each other.
