Oklahomans can now get a degree in grape growing and wine making. Redlands Community College in El Reno is the first school in the state to offer an associate's degree in viticulture.
Students take hands on courses at the Chapel Creek Vineyard and Winery. One student has already started his own organic winery.
"I really like the growing part of it because I believe that is where good wine is made. In the vineyard itself," said Max Cremer, viticulture student.
Viticulture students also learn how to how bottle wine and market their product.
