Foot Severed In Auto-Pedestrian Incident

TULSA, OK - A man's foot was severed during an overnight auto-pedestrian DUI incident at a Tulsa bar.

Officers responded to a fight call at Fat Daddy's Bar, 1800 East 51^st Street in Tulsa at approximately 1:30 Sunday morning.

Police told the News On 6 that an intoxicated man who was kicked out of the bar drove his car into a crowd of people in the bar's parking lot.

According to police, one man was taken to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition with severe injuries to his legs.  One officer told the News On 6 that a severed foot was found inside a shoe at the scene. Police say a woman was also taken to a Tulsa hospital with minor injuries.

Officers took the driver into custody.  He was also taken by EMSA to a hospital with an apparent head injury.  Police say the man was injured as members of the crowd held him until officers arrived.
