Former Mayors Gather At BOK Center

Tulsa mayors past and present gathered on Thursday for a special breakfast at the new BOK Center. Six former mayors joined Mayor Kathy Taylor to check out the new arena. They also signed a special stainless steel panel with the center's image on it.

Bill LaFortune was Tulsa's mayor when voters approved funding for the arena in Vision 2025.

"When Tulsans and the citizens get the chance to really get down here and look around they're going to be so proud, and it's going to be something they talk about to all their friends, all their relatives around the country," said LaFortune.

LaFortune will be in the audience for the arena's first show, the Eagles concert next month.
