Chase Ends With Broken Leg

An unidentified man is hospitalized after an Owasso Police chase ends in an accident.

Police say they were attempting to make a traffic stop overnight when the driver of a car took off. The car ran off the road near 193rd East Avenue and 86th Street North in Rogers County and crashed.

Owasso Police officers found the driver about a half a mile away with a broken leg and other injuries and taken by Lifeflight helicopter to a Tulsa hospital.

There is no word yet on what charges will be filed from the incident.
