CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (AP) - Democrats have run into some bad weather as they gather in Denver for their national convention.
At least two tornadoes touched down southeast of the city Sunday. There are no reports of injuries or damage, other than downed trees.
Workers at the county's emergency management center were on duty because of the convention and monitored live coverage of the twisters on radio and television.
1 of the tornadoes touched down about 20 miles from Denver between the towns of Castle Rock and Parker. A man who spotted it says he was trying to figure out whether to get in his car and leave, or jump in the bathtub.
