Police Release Child's Identity

Tulsa Police have released the name of a 2-year old found dead Sunday afternoon in his home's bedroom.

Police officers were called to the home in the 2200 block of South Jackson at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

The family told police officers Israel Musselman was put to bed at 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday afternoon, a family member found the boy dead in his bed.

The victim's body was taken to the state Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.

The child had just celebrated his 2nd birthday on August 7.
