A new medical facility is bringing affordable health care to Tulsans.

Community Health Connection broke ground on Tuesday on a new federally sponsored health clinic serving the neighborhood of Kendall Whittier near 3rd and Lewis.  The clinic was made possible through private donors in Oklahoma.  The building with be 16,000 square feet and will see all patients, whether they have insurance of not.

"We charge on a sliding scale. So, depending on their income they could pay as little as $25," said board member Ed Martinez.

The new clinic does not ask to see any documents or residency status before giving treatment.
