Man Arrested For Suspicion Of DUI

Officers with the Tulsa Police Department are investigating an accident that may have involved alcohol. The accident happened around 2 a.m. on Sunday around 500 North Highway 169 northbound at the Interstate-244 ramps.

That's where, police say, a man lost control of his SUV, slammed into a guardrail and then hit the wall.

It was raining at the time of the wreck. Police say the rain could have been a factor. They also believe alcohol was involved. The man was arrested for suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol.

Witnesses told police, they saw the SUV swerving before crashing.
