At Oklahoma State's media day the strongest message went unspoken.
Players wore wristbands displaying three simple, succinct words: "Big 12 Champs."
It's a tall task in one of the country's toughest conferences, but after finishing with back-to-back 7-6 seasons ending with bowl victories, the Cowboys believe their ready for the next step.
"I think it's more of a commitment to team and a goal," said OSU coach Mike Gundy. "Our players felt like they needed to talk more about winning a championship."
Oklahoma State last won a league title in 1976, when they shared the Big Eight crown.
