Lawmaker Tries Again To Bring A Gun To Work

A state representative who made national headlines with her anti-gay rant is back in the news.  Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say they had to stop Representative Sally Kern from bringing a gun into the Capitol for the second time this year.

Guns and knives aren't allowed in the building, and those who enter have to pass through a metal detector.

An OHP spokesman says Kern was also found with a gun as she tried to enter the building back in June.  Kern once complained of death threats after her anti-gay rant was posted on YouTube.
