One camp isn't your typical summer camp.  Instead of horseback riding or making macaroni necklaces, some kids are learning to save lives.

Camp Scrubs is a four day camp is for 10 to 13 year olds interested in the medical profession.  Aspiring nurses get hands on experience during drills with instructors from the Tulsa Community College.

It's designed to promote men in the nursing profession.

Wednesday was bio-terrorism day.

"They learned about chemical and biological attacks and what to do with the patients if there was an attack," said Jim Hicks with Camp Scrubs.

The camp ends in a special graduation ceremony that awards each camper with a stethoscope.
