Dozens Evacuated After Inn Catches Fire

Thirty-nine of 40 rooms were occupied at Tudor House Inn when the building caught on fire. The fire started shortly after 3 a.m. on Sunday at 6416 East Archer Street.

Dozens of people were evacuated from Tudor House Inn after an electrical box caught fire. The fire started shortly after 3 a.m. on Saturday at 6416 East Archer Street.

Thirty-nine of 40 rooms were occupied at the time of the fire. Everyone got out of the inn without injuries.

Once everyone was out and the building's power was shut-off, crews with the Tulsa Fire Department were able to put the fire out. The fire spread to the attic, but was contained to the north side of the building.

A couple of firefighters suffered minor injuries.

Officers with the Tulsa Police Department responded. The American Red Cross was also on the scene with snacks and drinks.
