Governor Brad Henry was at Nordam in Tulsa on Tuesday for a ceremonial signing of House Bill 3239. The bill provides tax credits for the aerospace industry and engineering graduates who come to work in Oklahoma.

"We were just looking for some competitive edge which would allow us to attract people into Oklahoma, but certainly to keep the people that the citizens of Oklahoma paid to educate, in our state," said Ken Lackey, Nordam CEO.

Lackey says House Bill 3239 also allows them to offer higher salaries than other states.
