A toddler in Oklahoma City is in protective custody on Monday after what emergency crews call a horrific case of child abuse.

The two-year-old girl was found with burns all over her body. A relative sent officers to the home to check on the child. They say she was covered in burns and an EMSA worker who tried to comfort her, could only find a place on the top of her head that didn't hurt.

The child was staying at her 81-year-old grandmother's house. Ruby Hill was arrested for interfering with the investigation.

The News On 6 talked with Hill. She says she did nothing wrong and the child's mother is to blame.

The little girl was brought to Oklahoma City from Texas last Friday.
