The search for the source of the salmonella outbreak plaguing the nation's tomato crop is expanding. While the FDA says it believes tomatoes are the source of the outbreak, it's testing other types of produce including cilantro, serrano peppers, and jalapenos.

The FDA says it's basically checking other vegetables commonly served with fresh tomatoes. The outbreak has sickened nearly 1,000 people.
