A new survey puts Oklahoma on a list of states in near recession. Economists put the blame on recent floods.
The good news in Green Country is Tulsa, along with Oklahoma City, has been named one of the best places in the country to build personal wealth.
Salary.com did a survey of 69 U.S. cities and ranked Oklahoma City 9th and Tulsa 12th on the list.
The survey mainly compares the cost of living to the pay rate in cities with a population of at least 250,000.
Plano, Texas was rated the number one place to build personal wealth. New York City came in last.
