An armed robbery and DUI arrest keep Tulsa Police busy overnight.
Tulsa Police are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery overnight. Police were called to the Lucky Sams Convenience Store at Mohawk and Lewis around 1:30 a.m.
The store's clerk says at least two armed men dressed in black took the cash from the register and ran off. They haven't been seen since.
No one was hurt.
And what should have been a routine traffic stop for a Tulsa Police officer ends with the driver spending the night in the Tulsa County jail.
Officers say that just before 1 a.m., they saw an erratic driver near Pine and Peoria. When they tried to stop him the driver turned off his lights and kept going.
The suspect was eventually pulled over after several blocks.
The driver was arrested for DUI and had a felony warrant from another county for drug charges.
