Candis Hill spent eight years trying to get in touch with her father.
News On 6 reporter Rusty Surette reports just days after finally meeting him, Hill said she came close to losing him again after her father was "brutally beat" Saturday in his Bethany apartment.
Jay Johnny Gann is now in an Oklahoma City hospital on life support. Family members said he has a lot of blood around his brain.
Bethany Police arrested Roger Franklin and Danyell Ealom in connection with the attacks and are looking for two more suspects.
Hill, 23, said she had hoped to make the most of the Father's Day weekend. She had spend years in a foster home and was enjoying hanging out with her father.
Police said Gann was attacked Saturday shortly after Hill had left his apartment.
Tommy Gann said his brother is the maintenance manager at the complex. He was checking on a disturbance when the group attacked him with a pipe.
"Even if you have an enemy, I don't care who he is; nobody deserves this," Tommy Gann said.
The group responsible for the attack does not live at the complex, police said.
Bethany police said the group was there to confront another resident about a possible stolen purse.
