Pickup Truck Hits Highway Sign

One person was injured in a traffic accident overnight in Tulsa. 

The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. Friday on I-44 near Sheridan. 

Tulsa Police say the driver of a pickup truck veered to the left and hit the base of a large sign.  EMSA transported the man to the hospital, but police officers say he is going to be okay. 

Tulsa Police believe alcohol may have had something to do with the accident.
