Gas prices nationwide cross the $4 mark. The national average is $4.02 a gallon.

Tulsans are paying $3.79 on Monday night. That's on par with what drivers in Oklahoma City and across the state are paying.

For some, $3.79 is a distant memory. Twenty states are paying more than $4 a gallon, like drivers in New York.

California has the highest gas prices in the country. They're over $4.50 everywhere and nearly $5 in Los Angeles.
