Power Restored

Electric service in Claremore back on Friday afternoon, after a supply line problem knocked out service almost 7,000 homes and businesses.   

Claremore city officials say GRDA was working on a Rogers County substation, when something tripped, causing electric power to the city of Claremore to go out. 

GRDA crews had power restored by 12:30 p.m.
