The pain at the pump is starting to ease just a bit. The price of oil slipped another $3 on Tuesday, down to $129 per barrel.
Gas prices around Tulsa are between $3.67 and $3.69. Tulsans are paying a dime less than those in Oklahoma City, and 24 cents less than the national average, which is brushing $4.00 per gallon.
The higher gas prices have had an impact on the number of people riding the bus. Tulsa Transit says ridership is up almost 10% from last year.
The bus service estimates parking your car to ride the bus can save you up to $200 a month.
