Councilors Give Green Light On Street Plan

Councilors approved a plan that would set aside bond money and sales tax revenues solely for streets.

The Tulsa City Council has voted on a street improvement proposal.  Councilors approved a plan that would set aside bond money and sales tax revenues solely for streets.

It wouldn't raise taxes. Instead, existing taxes would be extended to pay for road repairs.

Tulsans still need to sign off on the plan. The vote is set for July 29th.
