Traffic Stop Ends With Arrest

One person is jailed after backing into a Tulsa County Sheriff's deputy's car overnight.

The accident happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday at 4400 North Cincinnati. 

Sheriff's deputies say when a sheriff's deputy stopped a driver believed to be under the influence, the driver of the car thought he had his vehicle in park, but it was actually in reverse. 

The car hit the deputy's car.

No one was hurt.

In an unrelated incident, Tulsa Police say a night of drinking leads to an unusual joy ride and an arrest. 

Tulsa Police officers were called to Riverside Drive around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. 

That is where they found two men on a piece of earth moving equipment.  The two suspects both jumped off the equipment and ran. 

One was taken into custody, but the other got away.
