A Tulsa man is hospitalized after suffering a diabetic seizure while driving and a man is arrested while police investigate a suspicious car fire.
The accident happened shortly after midnight at about Pine and Sheridan.
Tulsa Police say the driver hit a trash can and then went into a yard where he hit a front porch and snapped the gas meter. The pickup truck came to rest after hitting a carport next door.
The man was trying to move the vehicle when police officers arrived.
EMSA took the man to a Tulsa hospital. No one in either home was hurt.
And in an unrelated incident, arson is to blame for a car fire overnight.
Tulsa firefighters were called to the Summerset Apartments at 2200 S. 137th East Avenue at around 1:15 a.m.
Fire officials say someone poured gas onto the vehicle and lit it.
As Tulsa Police arrived, officers investigated some broken glass in a nearby apartment. There they found a man asleep on the floor.
The man was arrested on a public drunk complaint.
The investigation into the car fire continues.
