A new study puts Tulsa teens near the top when it comes to deadly car crashes. Allstate Insurance ranked the 100 largest metropolitan areas. Tulsa is 23rd on that list.
Allstate called Tulsa a "hotspot" city because of the number of deadly crashed involving teenagers. That's based on Tulsa's teen population.
There is some good news.
The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety says a recent study found teen driving deaths have dropped 44% since 2000. That's when the state started its graduated driver's license program which places limits on new drivers.
