Vehicle Drives Into House

A lazy Sunday afternoon turned into a huge spectacle after an SUV slammed into a living room in West Tulsa. Police say a family was at the house, when suddenly, a Ford Explorer plowed right into their home.

Officers say the driver was traveling northbound on 28th West Place, lost control, overcorrected and landed in the house. Luckily, none of the four children or two adults were in the living room at the time.

"Extremely lucky. The living room there, ya know, it's a Sunday. Thank goodness they were outside or in a different room," said TPD Cpl. TJ Campbell.

Police say they're still investigating what caused the driver to lose control. No one was hurt.
