Armed Robbery At Video Store

Officers with the Tulsa Police Department say several men wearing masks and armed with guns, robbed a video store on Friday night. The armed robbery happened at the Hollywood Video located in the 1900 block of South Yale just before midnight when the store was closing.

"They all appeared to be quite young, they had gone into the store with masks over their face and guns, they robbed the store, they took the money out of the cash register and safe," said TPD Cpl. Dan Ward.

Police say the store did have surveillance cameras, which could help connect the robbery to other recent video store robberies.
