As the nation's economy dries up, Oklahoma is an oasis.
The Mid-America Industrial Park, just south of Pryor has at least 500 jobs it wants to fill and they had a job fair on Tuesday.
The News On 6's Steve Berg reports there are lots of jobs and even more job seekers.
The economy might be faltering elsewhere in the country, but don't tell that to the people in Pryor. The Mid-America Industrial Park has some 500 job openings it wants to fill.
Tuesday, the industrial park held a job fair, where they had thousands of job "seekers." The park still has a heavy emphasis on manufacturing, but it's much more diversified than it was in the old days, with everything from Gatorade to Google.
If you couldn't make it to the job fair, you can find out more at the Mid-America Industrial Park online.
