911 Service Disrupted

911 service in Mayes and Delaware counties has been disrupted. 

Residents needing emergency services should go the nearest fire station in their community.  Long distance service has also been affected.  Pryor, Disney, Salina, Adair, and Chouteau are all without long distance service.

Andy Morgan with AT&T tells The News On 6 that a fiber optic cable between Claremore and Pryor has been cut.  It is unknown who or how the cable was damaged.   Morgan says crews are trying to locate the exact location of the cut to make repairs.
