Two Burned In House Fire

Two people are recovering from burn injuries they suffered during a house fire on Saturday morning. Firefighters with the Tulsa Fire Department say the fire ignited just before 8 a.m. in the 1800 block of North Columbia.

It is believed the fire started in the kitchen. Crews say two people were home at the time. One victim has minor burns on her back. Firefighters say the other victim has severe burns to his torso.

The house sustained minor damage. The fire is under investigation.
