Jeep Flips On Highway 169

A man is recovering on Saturday morning after losing control of his jeep and rolling it several times.

A man is recovering on Saturday morning after losing control of his jeep and rolling it several times. Officers with the Tulsa Police Department say the accident happened just before 7 a.m.

Witnesses say they saw a vehicle swerve in and out of lanes and then hit a sound wall just north of Interstate-44 on Highway 169. The vehicle then flew over the 169 entrance ramp and down into a ditch. Witnesses say the jeep rolled several times.

Several motorists went to the man's aid and called for help. TPD arrived and freed the driver from his vehicle. Despite his totaled car, police say the driver only suffered an arm injury.
