With those storms, heavy rain, hail and possibly tornadoes are in the forecast.
The News On 6 WARN team says a strong high-level storm is moving toward west Texas and eastern New Mexico Wednesday.
At the same time southeasterly winds are spreading warm, humid air across Oklahoma and Texas and creating ideal conditions for tornadoes.
In addition, a flash flood watch has been issued for eastern Oklahoma and a flood watch for central Oklahoma through Thursday.
