Free Joe Diffie Concert In May

Oklahoma native and country music star Joe Diffie will be the headline performer for this year's Mayfest celebration in Tulsa.

Downtown Tulsa Unlimited and MidFirst Bank made the announcement Thursday.

Diffie will be in concert on Saturday, May 17.  Joe Diffie has 10 No. 1 records, over 20 top 10 hits, two platinum albums, two gold albums and six million in sales to his credit.

The Pendleton Family Fiddlers, Round Up Boys and TJ McFarland Band will be opening for Diffie. Thursday and Friday nights' concerts will feature Admiral Twin and Eldredge Jackson, respectively.

All concerts are free and open to the public.

Headline acts will perform on the Main Festival Stage on the Williams Green at 3rd between Boston and Main.
