Tulsa Police are investigating several overnight traffic accidents.
The first accident involved one car on a highway near downtown Tulsa. It happened in the 1100 block of north U.S. Highway 75 around 2 a.m. Tuesday. When police first got there, they didn't see the driver.
Officers found him found him walking nearby. The driver says he swerved to avoid another vehicle and lost control. The car ended up on a guard rail on its side. No one was hurt.
And two people walked away from another traffic accident overnight.
This one in the 5900 block of South Riverside Drive. The driver was headed northbound when he left the roadway and hit some trees in the median. A female passenger was able to get out of the car, but firefighters had to extract the driver.
Tulsa Police had to close down the northbound lane on Riverside Drive near 61st Street until the accident could be picked up.
