Two men carrying a shotgun and a machete robbed a Tulsa restaurant and it was all caught on tape. Even though their faces are covered, police hope someone will know who they are.
News On 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright reports the video clearly shows the men wearing ski masks as they walk into the Cheezie's Pizza shop at 3118 East Pine on February 24th at 8:30 p.m.
"One has a shotgun, the other, has a rather large machete, a knife," said TPD Officer Leland Ashley.
The men told the manager if he called the police, they'd come back and hurt him. They took money from the safe and left.
"The second individual who had the machete is rather short, maybe 14 to 16 years of age, real small," said Officer Ashley.
Cheezie's has been robbed before and employees say each time, the experience shakes them to the core, so they hope someone can finally help police get these robbers off the streets.
Anyone with information should call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS. You don't have to give your name and if your tip leads to an arrest the Citizens Crime Commission will pay you a cash reward.
