Bynum is on the Board of Directors for the Tulsa Historical Society and Leadership Tulsa. He belongs to the Rotary Club and earned his Eagle Scout in high school. He has resided in district 9 for over 20 years. He is married with one child.
Paul Tay, an Independent, says he runs for political office whenever he can because he believes he can represent the district and because other people take the ability to participate in the poliltical process for granted.
