An Oklahoma Red Cross team is heading out to help flood victims. The team is going to Mountain Home, Arkansas. Their first assignment is to assess the overall damage. Then, they'll work with people on individual cases.
One woman, who is volunteering with her husband, says they have volunteered in the past and they've usually been gone for three weeks.
This trip could be longer because of the extensive flood damage.
"They're usually long days, but you never know you're really tired. It's very rewarding," said volunteer Renee Corbett. "The Red Cross, though, is really good about making sure we don't get too tired or too overworked"
The volunteers could head to another town in need after finishing in Mountain Home.
