A group of Green Country police and firefighters say cancer sucks and they're doing something about it. Law Enforcements took the field on Saturday in Ramona to battle out against Firefighters, with only one goal in mind, to raise funds for cancer research.
CancerSucks.com picked the teams up as a fundraiser and to promote awareness.
"A lot of people have been touched by somebody that has had cancer knows someone that has died of cancer. It's a real positive thing for the community of Ramona and anybody else everybody here is to raise one goal and that is to raise money for cancer," said Steve Solomon, Ramona Police.
This was the 2nd Annual Cancer Sucks fundraiser. More than 100 people showed up. Tickets sold for $7 a person.
