An early Wednesday morning fire at a Tulsa housing complex forces residents out into the cold.
The fire happened shortly after 5 a.m. at the Hewgley Terrace Apartments at 400 S. Lawton.
Hewgley Terrace is a Tulsa Housing Authority complex and residents are primarly assisted living elderly residents.
This was the second time Tulsa Fire had responded to the complex overnight.
This fire started in a third floor apartment and spread to a next door apartment. Two people were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
Records show Hewgley Terrace has around 150 residents.
The cause of this fire remains under investigation.
