Thousands of veterans may soon be able to afford healthcare under new legislation proposed in the Oklahoma Senate. The bill would cover veterans who don't qualify through the Veterans Affairs Federal System and who can't afford private insurance.
Senator Rice says he hopes to find $4 million to $5 million for the legislation. That would allow veterans to pay only a small premium and co-pays.
