Blood Battle Underway For TU

University of Tulsa students are hoping for a slam dunk on and off the court.  Students, on Monday, rolled up their sleeves at the Reynolds Center to donate blood.

The University of Alabama - Birmingham challenged the Golden Hurricane to see which school could collect the most blood before the two teams tip off Wednesday.  So, it's a battle of points and pints.

The American Red Cross says it's especially in need of blood donations now.  It says many donors just aren't able make it because of the flu.  There are two more blooddrives set for Tuesday and Wednesday.
