The tons of debris and dollars continue to mount from the December ice storm. The contractor, hired by the City of Tulsa, has hauled more than 2.3 million cubic yards of debris since early January. The price tag, so far, is $8.8 million dollars.
That cost is growing at a steady pace and does not include expenses related to monitoring the clean up.
The cost of grinding the debris into mulch has cost about $360,000 to date.
