Some Broken Arrow firefighters make a safe escape when part of a house collapses during a fire.

The fire was discovered just before 7 o'clock Thursday night at 310 East Freeport Street.  Broken Arrow Battalion Chief Clark Balding says two teams of firefighters were inside the house, battling the blaze, when the second floor of the home collapsed onto the first floor.  All the firefighters were able to get out of the house.

All the family members inside the home had evacuated before fire crews arrived.  No injuries were reported.  But, Battalion Chief Balding says the home is a total loss.
