A scare at the Port of Catoosa on Thursday had fire crews monitoring the oxygen levels in an underground tunnel.  The Tulsa Fire Department says a man was working in a tunnel below a grain elevator and became unresponsive.

Eventually the worker regained consciousness and was able to walk out of the tunnel on his own.  The Tulsa Fire Department says they were unable to identify any hazardous materials near the tunnel.

"Right now we are doing some air quality monitoring to see if there may have been an oxygen deficient atmosphere that this individual had encountered," said TFD Captain Larry Bowles.

The worker was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
