Bixby Police get more than they bargained for during a routine traffic stop overnight.

Shortly after 2 a.m. Thursday, a police officer tried to pull a driver over for running a stop sign at 143rd and Urbana.  That driver pulled into a driveway, got out of his car and ran off.

Police say the passenger in the car started fighting with officers, spit on them, and even kicked out a window of a police car before he was taken to the Tulsa County jail.

The suspect faces a variety of charges including resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer.

The driver of the car has not been found.

In an unrelated incident, Tulsa Police are looking for a pair of burglary suspects stemming from an overnight incident.

The burglary happened at the MegaWatts store at 35th and Sheridan.  Tulsa Police responding to a call saw two men run from the store as they arrived.  The burglars dropped a laptop, two computer pc's and other items as they ran off.

Tulsa Police searched the area for about hour, but the suspects got away.
