Shoplifting Suspect Killed Last Week Identified

Tulsa Police know the identity of a man who was killed last week after he ran into traffic after an alleged shoplifting attempt. 

32-year-old Jeremy Winkle died after being hit by two different cars as he ran across U.S. Highway169 from the Best Buy store near 71st Street. 

Store employees say they caught Winkle stealing merchandise.  Police say when store employees confronted him, Winkle ran out of the store and into traffic.
