For many, Valentine's Day means giving their sweetheart chocolates, flowers or candy. But one Green Country couple is giving each other "forever." They're getting married Thursday on Six In The Morning. News On 6 anchor Latoya Silmon reports the couple is having their rehearsal dinner at the Chalkboard in downtown Tulsa.
On Thursday, they'll get married live on Six In The Morning and all of Green Country is invited. But before they tie the knot the couple had to tie up some loose ends.
If love is a battlefield, Jennifer Moore and Brian Kirby are winning.
"Just a lot of similarities. Same upbringing, very easy to get along with, funny. I love her sense of humor," said Kirby.
It all started with his grandmother's matchmaking.
"We kind of laughed at it, but at the same time, uh, I feel like we are perfect together," said Moore.
The two say soon after they met two-and-half years ago they knew it was love.
While most couple's have to worry about the dress, tuxedo and menu for the big day, Jennifer and Brian left it all up to Six In The Morning viewers.
That's right, strangers helped plan every detail.
Now all that's left is for these two to get settled into their new home.
"We're doing okay. We just need a few things to sit on," said Kirby.
It'll have to wait for now. They have to pack for their honeymoon to Florida.
Jennifer has a hair appointment at 4:30 Thursday morning. The wedding is in the seven o'clock hour during Six In The Morning.
